The most powerful production Honda ever sold in America, the track-ready 2017 Civic Type R embodies Honda's racing spirit, making 306 horsepower (SAE net) at 6,500 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque (SAE net) from 2,500-4500 rpm from its 2.0-liter DOHC direct-injected and turbocharged i-VTEC® engine. A pre-production version of the new Type R claimed the title of world's fastest production front-wheel-drive (FWD) car on April 7, 2017, setting a record lap time of 7 minutes 43.80 seconds on Germany's legendary Nürburgring Nordschliefe (North Loop), more than three seconds faster than the previous FWD best.
The Type R puts the power down through a short-throw 6-speed manual transmission with helical limited slip differential hooked up to 245/30ZR20 Continental SportContact 6 high-performance tires on 20x8.5-inch black-finished aluminum wheels. Speed is scrubbed by 13.8-inch cross-drilled rotors clamped by 4-piston Brembo aluminum calipers in front and 12.0-inch rotors with single-piston calipers in the rear.
The Type R chassis features a dual-axis strut front suspension and multi-link rear, front and rear anti-roll bars, Type-R exclusive springs, bushings and damper mountings and a newly designed Adaptive Damper System with the ability to continuously adjust damping force at all four corners using input from three on-board G sensors, four suspension stroke sensors and a steering angle sensor.
The Adaptive Damper System, along with the dual-pinion variable-ratio electric power steering, drive-by-wire throttle, and brake system, are tied to the Type R's three selectable driving modes, with COMFORT, SPORT and +R settings, allowing the driver to dial up the Type R's reflexes depending on the driving environment. The throttle ECU also features driver-selectable automatic rev matching with two profiles, one for COMFORT and SPORT modes and one for +R mode, to assist drivers in making smooth downshifts without the need for heel & toe downshifting.
Additional performance-enhancing Type-R exclusive features include a weight-saving all-aluminum hood (-11.7 lbs.) and the application of structural adhesives to the body for added structural rigidity, as well as a high-flow exhaust system with three center-mounted exhaust outlets, and a comprehensive aerodynamic package that delivers an exceptional balance of high-speed stability and low drag.

Alienware Will Launch To Market AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper On July 27

Alienware Area-51 Threadripper

PC Enthusiasts we haven't forgot about you, today we bring some exciting news for those of you that love a good computer with some crazy specs for the most demanding hardware again Alienware powerful hardware.

Yesterday, Alienware announced they would be launching an AMD Threadripper-powered Area-51 monster rig, rocking the 16-core, 32-thread processors. Initially, they gave a September launch date for the UK, but Alienware have now confirmed the Area-51 Threadripper edition will launch on July 27.
Read more: the best CPUs for gaming right now.
Alienware have gone big with their new Area-51 machines, offering both the AMD Threadripper chips as well as Intel’s upcoming Core i9 Skylake-X processors. The Intel option will be launching later, on August 22.
Alienware had their Threadripper version running on the stand here at E3, utilising the 32-threads of the engineering sample chip at its heart to run Sniper Elite 4, record it via OBS, and also threw some Blender rendering in there for good measure. Y’know, cos they can.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper engineering sample specs
The Threadripper chip was running at a stock speed of 3.4GHz, with the cores dropping back to just over 2GHz when they weren’t in use. In terms of cache, the 16-core CPU sports 1.5MB of L1 caches, 8MB of L2, and a massive 32MB of L3. That’s a whole lot of cache out there.
While the July 27 release date is specifically for the Area-51 machine, we'd be massively surprised if AMD allowed Alienware to be the first to bring the massive chips out into the wild. If AMD don't launch the CPUs for the DIY market before then there'll be pitchforks at the ready.
Alienware are the only OEM to be able to use the Threadripper CPUs in packaged products, as they've seemingly got exclusivity throughout 2017.

Alienware were also showing off their new 25-inch G-Sync and FreeSync monitors, with 240Hz 1080p TN panels for the pro-gamer crowd, as well as their new mice and keyboards too. Yeah, they’re getting back into the peripheral game too.
The keyboards are classic mech-switch fare, using Cherry MX Brown switches only, and the mice are sporting either the Pixart PMW 3360 or 3325 optical sensors. And, guess what? Yup, they’re rocking LEDs as well...
Surely PC enthusiast are pleased with these news, we are too. upgrading a PC and keeping it up to date is one of our greatest passions what about you? what is you impressions about Alienware new computer? share with us

New Video Review About The Honda Civic Type R

Are you a Car enthusiast? if so, you are going to love the news we bring to you today, yes thats right we are talking about the new Honda Civic Type R, read below for more

The first review of the Honda Civic Type R provoked a lot of reaction, so we're following it up with a handful of other videos which take a closer look at the latest hot hatch.

While some of our readers criticized the overly positive nature of the first review, that seems to be a common theme as most reviewers didn't find anything major amiss.

Starting with Roadshow's video, the reviewer praises the car as nimble and precise with a ride quality that is better than the Ford Focus RS and Subaru WRX STI. The reviewer also notes there's not a hint of torque steer and it's "unlike any other high power front-wheel drive car I have ever driven before." Everything wasn't perfect though as the driver thought the steering had a muted feel.

The second video comes from Cars.com and its reviewer says the car's turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is smooth and progressive without having a "peaky turbo feel." Things go a bit downhill from there as the driver notes the ride can get a little bumpy in R mode and the seats, while nice, lack adjustable lumbar support.

Engineering Explain was also impressed by the lack of torque steer as well as the car's amazing shifter and brakes. The only real demerits noted were a hint of turbo lag and a little bit of rev hang.

we would like to thank our readers for sending us a tip and we hope you
enjoyed the article as well as the video, stay tuned for more updates regarding this new vehicle.
